1ST GRADE TEACHER

Sometimes the joys of being a 1st grade teacher, just has to be shared. Today a little boy came up to me and said, "Mrs. Schaper, Cody just said the "F" word" Cody of course started stammering and denying any wrong doing. The first little boy still wanting to convince me says , "Yes, Yes you did, I heard you! You said "Freak"!!! THE JOYS OF BEING A 1ST GRADE TEACHER!!

Oh it's soooo hard not to laugh when they do things like that. You try in your sternest, most teacherly manner to say, "Okay, well that's not really a cuss word, but it's not really nice either so please don't say that." Isn't it so nice to know they don't know the real "F word" yet?
