As some of you may have remembered, I posted on my blog a little over a month ago about some people here in Ochelata, whose baby had just received a new heart. He was in the st louis hospital. Well today they let them leave the hospital with him and they are going to stay at the Ronald McDonald house nearby for a week or so...... then if all goes well they will get to come home with him..... I know that his parents are very nervous and excited about being in control of his total care..... so please continue to pray for him. But I also know that they are ready to be home. They have a little 5 year old here in Ochelata waiting for them to come home so they can be a family again. It has been a long long trip for them to have to go through he was born with half a heart, and he is about 15 months old. He has been in the hospital for well over half of his life. The mom has had to basically quit her job, the grandma is raising the 5 year old and they have maxed out their medical insurance, which was well over a million dollars. (they did that a while ago). But their faith in God and prayer was been very good. God has helped them to be so strong. I don't know how Kylee (the mom) has done it. She has also lost her father, and grandfather in the last 5 months. But God has been so merciful and the that baby boy has touched so many lives. Our church had a fund raiser for them.... a dinner and we raised around $10,000 that one evening. The little town turned out so good! IT is amazing what God can do.
