Empty Nest

Hi! Well today was my first "official" day back to work! As most of you know I am a first grade teacher, school starts Thursday! I had to go to back to school meetings today. (boring) (Hope my boss isn't reading) Anyway my life will be changing again real soon. Another bit of news..... my beautiful daughter Samantha will be starting college soon. Although she will not be going so far away as we first thought.... She is going to go to Oklahoma Weselyn University in Bartlesville, which is only 20 minutes away!! (mom is happy) She received a full tuition scholarship, but it does require her to live in the dorm. (which will be fun for her) She starts next week.... So Quentin and I are starting a new phase of life..... EMPTY NEST!! which does not excite us much... but we are excited for Samantha... We are very proud of her. As we are of our other two children. Justin who lives in Olathe, he is an electrical engineer for Garmin. Jessica who is married to my wonderful son-in-law Arthur, lives in Troy, MO.
